Bartering in MI by Deirdre Fagan

Sometimes you barter a trombone for a pick-up.
Sometimes it’s a fixed vacuum for a six-pack.
We barter in any relationship.

I bartered with you. Two kids. A dog.
One dead husband; two ex-husbands.
You, one ex-wife; a few girlfriends.

When a six-pack is equal to a fixed vacuum,
you are good to go.
